Policy
(copied from http://www.marlowmusic.net/taping.htm)

Audience taping is permitted at all marlow shows for non-commercial purposes only. We highly suggest that you bring microphones and a portable recording device (analog, minidisk, DAT). Don't forget fresh batteries, as power cannot always be provided. Be prepared for everything. All taping is limited to audio only. Soundboard patches may be given out on a
first-come, first-served basis, at the discretion of the sound engineer. If you plan to tape, email taping@marlowmusic.net and we may be able to get you on the guest list! Also, be sure to arrive at the show at least 30 minutes early to set up.

All taping must be for personal use only, which may include trading (via analog or digital tape, CD, or online file transfer). Taping is a privilege, not a right. We want to provide a cozy taping environment for everyone... please respect the wishes of the band and crew. It has always been a goal of ours to make taping as much a part of the show as possible,
so please help us by following common sense at all times.

For purposes of this policy, solo performances by Todd Pasternack will be treated as marlow shows. When marlow is performing at a festival or other event featuring multiple bands, that particular event's policy may override marlow's taping policy.

Trading Policy

All participants in audio recording exchange (regardless of format) acknowledge and respect the copyrights and exclusive ownership of the music and performances by the performers, writers and publishers.

Recordings may be traded only for an equivalent amount of similar media (cassettes or CDs, pre-recorded or blank). Regardless of any expenses incurred, no money may ever be exchanged as part of a trade. However, stamped, self-addressed envelopes may be included with blank media (B&P). In addition, the media by which audio trading is publicized may not be commercialized. Therefore newsletters, web sites, clubs, or any other communication forum facilitating audio trading cannot accept advertising, offer links for compensation, exploit databases compiled from their traffic, or otherwise derive any commercial proceeds in any form. Stores or businesses may not offer to duplicate marlow media (CD-Rs, DATs, analog tapes, etc.) for customers or sell or otherwise provide media containing unreleased marlow music for any price. A statement of compliance with this policy must be clearly posted on all web sites engaged in trading activity.

Unauthorized sale, duplication and/or distribution is strictly forbidden. All marlow performances and recordings are the exclusive property of marlow/Todd Pasternack. All rights reserved. The privileges to record marlow performances set forth in this policy constitute an express, revocable license. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading, and/or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case-specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary. No
waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.

If you are aware of any person, website or file transfer (FTP) site in violation of this policy, please inform us (taping@marlowmusic.net).

Thank you!
